Just curious if anyone knows what replaced the pirelli corsa diablo 3s?
Pirelli now has the diablo Rossi 2, diablo rosso corsa and diablo super corsa .
I've tried to google with no luck. There is a significant price difference between the 3 of them as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think the Rosso Corsa is the replacement model. That said, I would love to get my hands on a juicy set of Supercorsa SP's. When my BT016's wear out I'll be strongly tempted....but won't expect long life.

Three sports riding oriented tires: Diablo Rosso II, Diablo Rosso Corsa, Diablo SuperCorsa. Rosso II is more road oriented, but still sports, SuperCorsa is more track oriented, Rosso Corsa is in-between.

Thanks viper have gone to pirellis website & It doesn't say what the corsa 3s were replaced with.

Ya I had the Corsa diablo 3s until they wore out at about 12000kms but I LOVED them and want another set of pirellis - looks like a similar tread pattern on the diablo corsa 2s as the diablo 3s?

I had the Diablo III's as well! LOVED the tire! Stuck like glue, cold OR hot! I got 13,300km's out of my rear (till the cords were touching all the way around). This even included some smoke shows during the world cup, etc!!

I replaced them with the Rosso Corsa's which seemed equally as sticky, but didn't get a chance to test how long they last because my bike got smooshed about 800km's after installing them :(

If the Bridgestone S20's aren't available soon I'll probably put Rosso Corsa's on my new bike :)

Last set was supercorsa's never had a better tire for the twistes only downside was the longevity I only got about 9k on my rear tire.

9K? That's not bad. I got that out of my last Q2 and Power Pures (ok a bit more out of the PP on the Tuono).

My record is destroying a set of BT-014s in 1700km. Be thankful for 2010+ tire technology...

Supercorsa SP's came on the R1 I bought over the winter. Extremely fast warm up and awesome feel. Based on the sticky compound and shallow tread, I dont expect them to last very long or be any good in the rain. They are perfect for my purposes except for the price ($$$).

Exactly why I was startled by "only" 9K on the rear as reported by ThrottleThrow....I would expect much less if ridden aggressively. Considering their performance potential, pricing isn't outrageous. All prices Pete's (120/180): Supercorsa SP $334.90, Q2 $224.90, BT-003RS $312.90, Power One $367.90. The Q2's really are an astounding deal, although not quite as track-biased as the others.

Agreed - If I get more than 5-6k out of the rear I'll be pretty happy. If you arent riding aggressively with this tire they are a complete waste.

I've put 5000km on my rosso corsa's. I haven't slipped yet, not even in the rain. Really sticky tire when warm. In all: Great tire!

I disagree with this a bit. I consider tires like guns. I'd rather have it and not need it (grip), than need it and not have it.

lol you funny!

Maybe you are a little choppy with the throttle.

People may say I am very aggressive but somehow I manage 12k out of them ;)

You got 12K out of supercorsa SP's? They only come with 3.5/5mm of tread new. Wow. These tires come stock on the 1198 etc and based on what Ive read on the ducati forums, most are getting under 6k out of them.

Maybe I am a little a choppy. Maybe my bike makes a *little* bit more power than a 750. You may not remember me, but I have ridden with you before so I am aware of how "aggressive" you ride.

Yes sir, your penis is bigger than mine

Then you should have corrected your statement to say "if you are getting more than 6k on a bike like mine while racing lambos on a straigh" then you are not aggresive neough

Also, you are aware of how agressive I am because you rode with me? lol, Such a blanket statement, anyone can say that but I am yet to have anyone pass me while enjoying the great outdoors up north on a "slow paced ride" Maybe you were so fast that I didn't see you pass me, that would explain the 6k tires :)

Well, thread highjack complete. :)

So just to clarify, you got more than 12k out of supercorsa sp's? or with a different pirelli tire? Im still not clear on that.
