A little background on this...
This is a 1947 Indian Chief. It is owned by my father's friend. The bike was a "barn find" as far as Indians go... This is the bike that he rides the most, infact I've never seen him drive a car. He also has an Indian 4 which is nice and shiny but he never rides it, along with quite a collection of other bikes. The '47 is believed to be a Montreal Police Special at one point. What I find cool is the bike is all original on the exterior, minus the saddle of course. All new mechanically. I've always had a soft spot for how bad *** this bike is without trying to be.. not to mention the fact that although not looking like it, it's worth more than most of the cars on this site (including mine probably 5 times over).
