This is the guy that wrote article about why he stopped riding.
It appears he lost his mind completely and is instructing cars now to go wide when they overcook the turn as if it is normal order of things.

This is completely irresponsible article and I hope not to meet any idiot that does this on the road.

That graphic showed the exact opposite of a "wide corner" line! Plus that guy is acting like a twit. Shades? The little head nod at the end? He didn't get his job based on skill, that much is for sure.

Great advice.....take a corner wide cross the line and endanger someone else. Here's some advice...slow down and drive accordingly. Don't get me wrong I love driving spirited and taking corners hard but never crossing the line as you never know what's around that bend.

Normally when I am in the mood for a laugh I look to youtube for idiotic "instructional" videos, its nice to see that the Globe and Mail has also jumped in on the action.

an editor posted a video before it was finished... it went up with an incorrect graphic, and with footage that didn't illustrate the point. I had it taken down once I learned it was up.

Looks like the vid has been fixed, he doesn't appear to be suggesting that drivers should use the opposite lane any more. But he still looks like a stuck up twat.
