Permanent anti-fog coating that works!

I would have to see it to believe it.
I have tried at least a dozen different products to try to keep a snowmobile helmet face
shield fog free, I have found the only way to stop fogging is to not breathe on it.

My Scorpions were awesome for anti fogging for the 1st season. I find that whatever coating they use, does wear down with time and, more likely, my cleaing the visor.

I would love to have this type of coating....too bad you can't buy it and apply it yourself. Even if helmet manufacturers do adopt this system, I have 8 different brand of helmets that i"d like to apply the coating to. Chances of all 8 manufacturers adopting the same coating is slim to none.

My Shark RSR would never fog. It really surprised me. My Shark RSI on the other hand does not have the same coating.

Just got a reply from Shoei:

Shoei Customer Service said:
Thank you for taking the time to write in to share this information with us. We have actually had a few customers send this information to us already and I have already forwarded it to our parent company in Japan, and we are currently looking into the technology.

If you read their other reviews on the site there are at least 2 or 3 products that they say work awesome and you can apply them yourself. Not permanent though.

What, that Clarity garbage that they spout off about?

WASTE OF MONEY. It works for about 2 minutes. Then fogs up again.

After that debacle, I watch their reviews skeptically now.

I believe Pinlock is the only way to go. Shoei sure knows something we don't, as thats all they recommend.

It is true that there are no other permanent coatings available for the helmets industry and this is why that the double shield solution is the best enough as of today although it brings others issues.
I definitely confirm that SHOEI are in the process of testing our coating. In the coming weeks we shall know what is their appraisal.
On a more global aspect, I confirm that our coatings is currently installed on firemen helmets and special police suads as as standard for a couple of years and they are extremely satisfied with the durability and the no fog properties.
