I haven't laughed so hard at Norway in my entire life. This guys plays video games all day, gets access to a gym and makes demands after killing 77 people. Put him in a hole and forget about him.

Lol... I'll send the Swedish Bikini Team over to Norway to give him bj's while he plays his video games, just to make things more comfortable for the poor misguided lad

" the hunger strike will continue until ... he dies"

From 2001 to 2006, and then again from 2009 to 2012, Norway had the highest Human Development Index ranking in the world. Norway has also topped the Legatum Prosperity Index for the last five years. The OECD ranks Norway third in social mobility and fourth on the 2013 equalized Better Life Index. From 2010 to 2012, Norway was classified as the most democratic country by the Democracy Index.

Norway has one of the lowest recidivism rates in the world, at 20 percent.

Keep laughing... something tells me they know how to handle their own business

True, but this case is worthy of some special attention

If it was up to me, he'd be shot at dawn (as I think I've previously stated on here), but I do concede that Norway obviously does just about everything better than us so I'm sure they got it covered

In a letter sent to The Associated Press and other media, Breivik writes the hunger strike will continue until his demands are met or he dies. Unquote

Let the chips fall where they may.

That said, rehab is common sense. Why pay to keep a person locked up for life when he can be made into a productive responsible citizen. The part I have trouble with is how do you know the person is safe to release? Psychos are good actors.

My take on it is that while rehabilitation/correction should be the FIRST priority, some crimes are just so heinous that they require a shift to the punitive part of the justice system.

Unfortunately, thanks to Trudeau Sr, that's not the case here in Canada.

Norway is very Liberal, I'm not surprised at all. Have you seen pictures of their prisons?

I feel sorry for the victims. Imagine your mother or wife being killed violently and having the murderer getting a new life? I'm talking all the perks in life like a vacation

I bet some mass murderers are parking up as we speak and buying their tickets to norway

I already did... They get to sit on their *** in a private cell with a couch and playstation... let's send all our homeless to norway. Bigger the felony the better the treatment.

There is more to the story than liberalism. The USA is quite the opposite but a lot of their crime is the result of centuries of racial tensions.

Breivik doesn't seem to be rehabing very quickly. After murdering 77 people he is more concerned about the version of HIS Playstation instead of how he could atone for his actions. I have concerns about the lack of remorse.

It's his choice to die. Let him. After all, it seems that XBox One could use a martyr. Maybe it would boost sales?

XBox One - the right choice for the right terrorist

Maybe he wasn't getting enough call of duty to practice his sniping
