PC: 1999 Yamaha YZF R7 - OWO2 (Price Check)

very rare . . . very exclusive . . . very expensive

Anybody's guess...

Top dollar price depends on the kms (has to be very, very low) and the condition (has to be 100% factory OEM).

google coles notes wiki whatever
only 500 made for WSB Homologation and they were $30k then, standard kit ohlins, carbon fiber, etc etc.
quick searches show values from $20k - $25k USD
are they worth it ? who knows ... but that would be a sweet ride... I have always kept an eye open for one of these - never been one available at the right time for me.

They were dogs as stock. Factoryrace engine kit was needed to wake them up......lots of owners went that route.

Any race kit parts on it? They made liter-bike power (~150whp) with the full engine kit. That can't hurt the value much IMO.

I would guess a mint, original, very low km one could fetch over $30000. You selling one?

The problem is not if you can afford one, problem is if you can find one for sale.

Yes, but someone who is looking to buy this this bike in 2012 is definitely not going to put it on the track. There are better bikes that can be had for less money for that. Performance is not at the top of the list.

And an R7 with the kit installed back in the day probably spent some time on the track...

I think what you want to buy here is the pure rarity of a very special bike.

I think finding the Coin and finding the bike is not very common.

Wat was included in the engine kit? They have 2 sets of injectors, did it need a seperate ECU to turn that set on? from the WIKI it looks like a pretty mean 750 in race trim!

I suppose if you have the coin to buy an R7, you can afford the shipping cost from England.

I wonder what the conversion for that would be. + all the headaches of getting that registered. Unused Unregistered! wow.
