Im looking to get a set of shorty for my r6. Are they worth the money? I have adjustablelevers.com ones for my cbr before and they were decent.

Also can anyone recommend a place to get them?

Thanks

They are certainly worth the money! makes riding much more comfy. Before i switched to genuine pazzo's i used a cheap chinese knockoff and they felt the same. But the Pazzo felt more sturdy.

So did they feel the same or different?? You contradict yourself.

Another forum I'm on people can't really tell the difference between the two...for the price Pazzos certainly are not x times better. I had the knock offs on my last bike no problems. Save your money for gas.

My buddy got a set of pazzo's last week and I gotta set from ebay the week before that for 40 bucks. appearance wise they are almost identical, they have the same machining across the levers, im not sure if theres a material difference, sorry I got no pics to show. The only thing about fitment is on the clutch side theres the tiniest mm of up and down wobble, but with my stock lever it was much worse. IDK, they feel good and do the job, and even my boy with the pazzos says he dont see much of a diff either, I guess only time will tell if mine start to discolour or something like that. heres the seller if youre interested http://stores.ebay.com/BikeGear-2010 PM if you get them as tracking is a bit goofy if you dont know where to look, my levers spent a total of ten minutes in customs and it came across the pond from China after a couple of days but spent most of the two weeks with Canada Post.

Like i said they feel the same, the Pazzo's just feel more sturdy as in when i picked them up, they were much heavier than the knockoffs but that doesn't really make a difference when its installed. It also has better fitment.

I spent $34 for a set of Pazzo knockoffs for my new bike and the clutch side has a bit of play also. I had real Pazzos on my old bike and the only difference I can see is the powdercoating, the knockoffs are fading a bit.

Does anyone have any experience with crashing with knockoffs vs. real Pazzo levers? How do the break/bend?

My personal problem is that I cant spend 200 bucks on something that someone else has for 40.99. If pazzos has Louis Vuitton stitching or were made from adamantium then sure, I may think about it. But since Im not taking my zzr to anything more serious than trips to muskoka I cant justify to my brain spending that kinda loot. I mean i could get laid like three times and still buy knockoff levers for the price of some pazzos, lol

It's not like they serve an important function to the operation of a bike or anything...

If someones got the shortys on, wouldnt their bars hit the ground first? when I went down year 'fore last with regular size levers my whole clip on snapped, I just bought a new one and used the same lever

^^^ are you sure this isn't a knockoof too at that price???
Kingston Rd prices man, what can I say I luv a bargain =D I mean this is strip where having teeth is considered an extra charge:lmao:

i bought my bike with them on, thanks to my previous owner. they work fine for me although i dont have much experience on other bikes so i cant do comparison...

Shermotoracing.com
adjustable, foldable, same quality and half the price of pazzos.

I have them on my r6. Had China ones but these are way sturdier.

I know, but if Im not really taking the bike out to the track or anything like that, if I was then I would want nothing but the best. Admittiedly tho I would be in an extrmely bad situation if the levers decided to fail, but Ive got ppl telling me theres no real difference and if they're milled incorrectly, youll figure it out when you install them and they dont pull properly.

I have the shorty Pazzo levers on my bike (Ninja 650R). I like them alot better than the stock levers. They are adjustable and the design / shape of the levers fit my small hands better. I find they help improve my shifting and braking. I can't compare them to the knock off ones. But I find they are worth the price.

Got a paif of knock off ebay last month. $35 shipped to my door. Look and feel identicle to the Pazzos. I was expecting them to feel kind of cheap, but they are suprisingly solid. Very happy with my purchase.

My bike was knocked over last week. Lever defintely hit the pavement as there is a small scratch on the end of it. But it held up just fine. Though I wasn't there when it happend so I don't know how hard it went down.

My little brother has Pazzo knock-offs on his SV, and I have real Pazzos on my ZX-11. There is no difference whatsoever. YMMV

If they appeared to be milled the same, they should break just as easily. Trust me, you *want* the levers to break in a crash - otherwise you're just bending up more expensive parts like your master cylinder. Or you could spend the money on folding CRG levers ... I won't.
