Hi everyone, I've got a question about partial fault and how that affects one's deductible. I called my insurance provider (TDMM) but the person on the phone wasn't positive on her answer.
So first, my understanding is that the amount of deductible one must pay is directly proportional to the amount they are found to be at-fault; i.e. no deductible if not at fault, 50% deductible if 50/50 at fault, full deductible if completely at fault. However, the TDMM representative wasn't positive about the 50/50 case. So I'm hoping some of you guys can confirm, or speak from experience especially if it was with TDMM.
Second, is fault determination a variable scale; I mean is there such a thing as 10%, 20%, etc. at fault? Or is it just 0, 50/50, and 100%?
Cheers
