First crash today lowsided my ninja on a wet patch in a corner :(. im fine gear did its job not a scratch on me, bikes got some roadrash but otherwise running like a dream. Big shoutout to the guy who stopped and lended me some tools to bend my shift lever back enough to get home. we all go down at some time right?
 
It happens. Lucky for you Ninja's are pretty bulletproof and replacing the fairings damaged shouldn't break the bank too bad either. I'm curious what happened when you went down... too fast? What tires are you using? I use Sport Demons on mine and they handle the rain pretty well. Mind you I don't ride in the rain like I do when it's dry, but they do their job... Only had the rear slip on me once, but I didn't go down.

As long as you're here to type about it... you'll live to ride again. Good to hear (and yes most riders go down at least once)
 
might have even hit, an icy patch, there were reports of freezing rain (my gf saw it first hand downtown this morning). Be very careful during these iffy conditions!

good to hear you were wearing gear, and seems like you're in good spirit! Gear could make the difference of riding a bike home or riding in your momma's car home lol.

we all have to go down some time, but paris hilton goes down all the time ;)

im running Avon road riders there great tires it was my fault not the bikes ahah. went in a little to hot in the first place (underestimated the corner) as soon as i started to lean i hit a wet patch and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee away i go. main thing is im not hurt at all and the bike got rode home :)

When peeps see my knee sliders they are like "wow, you're super pro, wore done the slider a lot!"... um, no, it's just cause I've crashed three times in this suit :D

welcome to the club.. it gets costly when you really try riding and low side on the lawrence clover haha.

You're reading too much into it. I've always heard that there are two kinds of riders, those that have crashed and those that are going to crash. So I connected the dots and rolled it into some observational humour.
