Parking rules around St Mike's hospital

Wife is going in next week for surgery and will be there for about 5 days. Not a big fan of paying $20 parking for the day and more if I stay past 6. Haven't been downtown on the bike for some years but from what I have read, motocycle parking is still free on the street (where allowed). Is there a limit as in can I park on Victoria around noon and leave around 8 without problem?

I usually park on Bond Street. Not a problem into the evenings but you cannot park there before 8 am I believe. There is also a small side road parallel and east of Church behind the Starbucks, nobody has bothered me there either.

Having said that I do see occasional bikes in the Green P underground on the south side of Queen St. across the hospital. I presume they had to pay.

PS - great bike, I still remember when those first came out!

I work right across from st mikes and parking is still free where available for bikes on the streets, and free for scooters on the sidewalk but not bikes

thanks, working to get a electical gremlin out of the bike first but hopefully will be good for next week... fingers crossed good weather (and a good surgery!)

You can park on the street where ever it's allowed, you just don't have to pay. Read the signs and watch the times. Generally other than that the limits don't apply. i.e. max 3hr limit, etc. They don't tend to bother bikes parked all day in the same spot as long as it's within the allowed times.
