Parking on Simcoe St north of King

Ive seen a row of bikes parked here consistently for the past few seasons that Ive worked in the area. Its my first season and I plan to ride to work. Just curious if anyone here is in that group that parks there and whats the situation with paying there? Has anyone ever gotten a ticket for not paying.

Thanks in advance.

The short answer is no, you don't have to pay. For the long answer, see the http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforu...ing-rid-of-free-parking-for-motorcycles-today sticky thread. Technically they could chalk your tire and charge you for parking longer than 3 hours, but I've never heard of that happening. The green hornets just ignore motorcycles unless you're parked in a no parking area outside of the signs, or at rush our on an arterial (signed for no parking either in the morning or afternoon rush hour).

I parked there day-in day-out for three seasons with zero problems. My shift started at 7am so most days I was the first bike and I worked 8-9hrs. So yeah, like Face stated above they could ticket after 3hrs but it's rare. Just pay attention to the poles. I came outta work one day and there was one bike that was just past the pole/sign and it was ticketed. It's definitely a popular spot.

Thanks. That answers my questions perfectly. If you see a red Vulcan there it is mine. Please be careful around it :)
