Parking near Horsesshoe Tavern (Queen/Spadina)

I know there is parking on Wellington, which is just south of King st.

Could you not park outside the actual venue? On Queen st?
 
Just park on queen, but on the opposite side of the tavern or just east of it closer to lush(less pubs & more retail stores).

Spadina's only slightly safer. The problem with going south of queen is that you got drunk people everywhere because it's the club district. North of queen = people who suck at parallel parking lol.

If you're going today, Duncan will be really quiet, but it'll be a 2 minute walk(you'll probably be parking beside me, too :p)
 
Keep in mind, traffic around there will be a nightmare due to the intersection of Queen and Spadina being closed for track repairs.
 
On-street parking on Peter. You can find clusters of bikes. Open lots (metered): Corner of Queen & Soho. 2 on Peter between Richmond & King. 2 on Richmond just east of Peter. Underground on Richmond between John & Peter (under Scotiabank Theatre). Not sure if it's still accessible due to the construction that started today at Queen/Spadina, but the sidewalk outside Horseshoe is extra-wide, if you're feeling lucky.

As rawr said, I would park relatively far from Queen/Spadina and just walk it. I was downtown today and I just couldn't handle the shitshow the city's in right now.
 
I wouldn't park ever again on Queen between Uni and Spadina... I got my bike knocked over in a hit and run when I did. Before that, I had my car bump parked.
