Parking in Toronto

I need to take my bike into work this Wednesday @ King & University. I normally work out of Mississauga and don't commute to Toronto too often.

Anyone have any suggestions on where I can park? I saw some free Green P parking for motorcycles on Simcoe Street. Has anyone parked here before / know how safe it would be to leave my bike there from 9am-5pm.

Park on Bay and Front... Ive heard of one or two bike get knocked over by a stupid car sometime last year.. but then again.. u run that risk parking anywhere right?

Try Pearl & Simcoe area (lots of bikes parked there)

Any side street that has street parking is fine. just make note of the parking times. A popular safe spot is on Mercer just North of Aderlaide and John if you don't mind a ten minute walk to King and University.

Bay/Temperance! Great isolated spot where many bikes park. GooglgeMaps view is a bit outdated but you'll get the idea when you get there=D

Park on Simcoe street infront of Elephent Castle. There is at least 20 bikes there on any given work day. No problems.

A block or two or three south of Eglinton Avenue, you can park on or near a bridge that crosses the subway tracks, just west of Yonge Street. I see lots of bikes there, and I've never seen a ticket on any bike there.

Yes, I was checking this area out today, I was just concerned with it being a bit out of sight and someone being able to grab the bike in a van. Not sure why someone would want to steal a 250 anyways, maybe I will just find a nice R6 to park next to

A block or two or three south of Eglinton Avenue, you can park on or near a bridge that crosses the subway tracks, just west of Yonge Street. I see lots of bikes there, and I've never seen a ticket on any bike there.

I got a few tickets there last year and one today!!!

Had to take the bike in today as well and was late for work, most spots were taken so I parked here: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=...=AOLtGZcd2o0pCOz_aXAafw&cbp=12,12.31,,0,11.92

Anyone know of any issues here?
Btw, are we supposed to pay for parking at these green P spots? Not sure where to put the parking pass even if I did pay.

It's Lola Rd and yes, you will get tickets there.
