Parking in Toronto

I need to take my bike into work this Wednesday @ King & University. I normally work out of Mississauga and don't commute to Toronto too often.

Anyone have any suggestions on where I can park? I saw some free Green P parking for motorcycles on Simcoe Street. Has anyone parked here before / know how safe it would be to leave my bike there from 9am-5pm.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Park on Bay and Front... Ive heard of one or two bike get knocked over by a stupid car sometime last year.. but then again.. u run that risk parking anywhere right?

Any side street that has street parking is fine. just make note of the parking times. A popular safe spot is on Mercer just North of Aderlaide and John if you don't mind a ten minute walk to King and University.

any suggestion for street parking around the metro toronto convention centre? (that isn't restricted by rush hour times)

Park on Simcoe street infront of Elephent Castle. There is at least 20 bikes there on any given work day. No problems.

any suggestion for street parking around Yonge and Eglinton (that isn't restricted by rush hour times)

A block or two or three south of Eglinton Avenue, you can park on or near a bridge that crosses the subway tracks, just west of Yonge Street. I see lots of bikes there, and I've never seen a ticket on any bike there.

Try Pearl & Simcoe area (lots of bikes parked there)

Yes, I was checking this area out today, I was just concerned with it being a bit out of sight and someone being able to grab the bike in a van. Not sure why someone would want to steal a 250 anyways, maybe I will just find a nice R6 to park next to :)
