Parking at Airport (Pearson)

Anyone ever leave their bike there while catching a flight? if so any special consideration for where/how to park? Worries about theft? discount parking?

Im heading out of town for 4 days next month and will probably ride my bike to the airport, although usually i park off site with my car (cheaper) im thinking of using their parking since its covered and *hopefully* more secure.

Thanks for any input

Im coming from Durham for a flight at 8am so cab will be uber $$$ and its too eairly to take public transportation i think.

might have to look for other options then.

Get a flat rate fee from a cab, or look into an airport service. From Durham last time i checked was around $70 one way ..

Call a friend for a ride? Offer beer or dinner or cash for gas. That's how my buddies and I always set it up. Anyone flying can call someone in the group and it just reciprocates next time around. I've never taken money from a buddy even for a 4am trip to Pearson.

Some of the hotels offer free parking up to a week if you stay a night. So $120 for a room with free parking and shuttle. I use to work for delta hotel airport.

ive seen these guys around, $160 round trip is about the same as a room for a night ...

I might check out the hotel rental but i appreciate the input from everyone.

parking a motorcycle at any lot for a period of time is not a good thing. If its just for a few hrs or a day should be okay.

Fack it, leave it.

throw a puck under the kickstand and fly. Worst case, gets stolen, you have thief insurance don't you?

for $100 you can have a room for the night, and 8 days of included parking. Free shuttle to and from the airport (less than 3 mins).

Are thefts from that parking lot common? We have some pretty expensive equipment installed there that is accessible to any parking customers and so far it hasn't been pinched. Lots of cameras around (not that those seem to help at condos). I usually just ride to work and then cab there (we have a fenced lot with card access only). Makes more sense to just cab from home, though.
