They are motorcycle specific That's not far off the cycle shorts and I like the design.

Have been using padded cycling shorts since my MotoSkiveez waist band gave up the ghost. They worked and were motorcycle specific.
They are now $165 !!!!

Will give these Apex a try. Good sizing too.
My Airhawk cover is really falling apart but their replacement cover is $50 tho I got a lot of mileage from it.

When I wanted underwear for riding I went to the experts, the Ironbutt Association. You can't get IBA riders to agree on much, but almost everyone agrees that LD Comfort are the BEST undies. No pads, no seams, just four way stretch fabric that wicks sweat and will not crease. I have a pair and wear them for every ride longer than an hour.

AirHawk is my seat choice but as I age I lose muscle padding on my ass and that hurts so I find the padded shorts help.
The motorcycle specific design works better on the upright bikes for me.
Also my rides are no more than 400 km in a day thanks to type of roads and strict speed limits/enforcement.
I don't take breaks often enough - I also find the spandex helps the jelly muscles I consist of 🤪
IF I stop more often and take Panadol half way through a ride I'll feel pretty decent after 250-300 km

Large range of sizes too.
Just ordered a pair. Used MotoSkiveez in the past with success but willing to try something else.

Many years ago I bought a set VNM long sleeve shirt and pants from a sponsor on here. I use them for all long distance trips. Keeps you very cool. Once I tried them on a late fall ride to Algonquin Park. They lived up to their hype they cooled me so much I never had a colder ride.
I have a pair of Moto Skiveez, not sure I like them but only tired a couple of times on short rides. I like padded shorts on my bicycle but not sure on the motorcycle.

Looks like VNM has located to the US. She was great to deal with. Here’s the web site with the About us section

I have bicycle shorts leftover from when I used to road-ride and I wear them on my dirtbike every time and on the big KTM when I’m doing more than 400km (many of my day rides are 800km). Will consider these ones though for another pair if shipping isn’t too bad to Canada.

I just use a pair of cheap padded bike shorts from Amazon over top of my VNM pants when riding dirt or longer rhan an hour on the street. I have a bunch of natural butt padding, but it doesn't seem to help a whole lot 😅
