Overpants with dress pants?

Does anyone have experience using the Icon Overlord textile overpants with wool dress pants during the summer? Or any other type of overpants? I'm debating whether I should get overpants for the commute or just change when I get to work :S. Does it wrinkle your pants or get really sweaty?

The director and I just change at work... You dont want to go to a meeting looking like you sleeped in your suit. haha

THIS.

No point dressing up if you look like a slob in the end.

Probably best to plan your ride and leave dress clothes in your office, OR fold/roll them up (with your dress shirt too) in a roomy tailbag/tankbag.

The idea of wool pants UNDER textiles anything over 20 degrees is making me itchy.

I wear dress pants under Fieldsheer riding pants. My dress pants are wash and wear poly/cotton (it's a uniform, I wouldn't choose these things if I had a choice!). In a 30 minute commute they don't show any more wrinkle then if I was sitting behind the wheel of my car for the same length. BUT, my ride is no traffic and I don't sit and sweat.

If I was commuting in traffic I might choose to wear my dress pants with nothing over top but with my leg armour underneath (I have knee/shin armour that I wear under my textile riding pants). Not ideal but I don't think too bad a risk.

If I have a meeting with a colleague at the office, I go business casual with Dockers wool/poly blend and Nautica or Tommy wrinkle resistent shirts. No white, no tie, no temps over 25. So basically, not very often.

Other than that, 95%, I pack a bag and change.

Cheers.

Hell no for wearing overpants in the summer. It feels like wearing snowpants and your legs will feel all soupy once you get to work.

+1 for changing at work into some crisp fresh cool dress pants from jeans.

^^^ I change him, he changes me. This action is more of a coordinated continuous improvement duty.

I just get changed at work.

Yep, I do. I've been doing it for 3+ years and don't ever remember get a wrinkle I would notice. It's quick, no need to change in change room. I am cheap as far as clothing, so I have nothing fancy, but drees pants and shirt & tie attire required, so I cannot look like a street chump when I walk in. I use Fieldsheer textile pants, dirt cheap ....
