They unveiled the superman mint at Yonge/Dundas yesterday during lunch...... so awkward. About 40-50 people showed up

Besides, I could care less about the creator because the actual character isn't a Canadian nor do they ever mention his origins.

Agreed. It makes no difference where the creator was born, he is an American for all intents and purposes. It annoys me when we try to claim something/someone as Canadian when in every way that matters it is not.
