So who's going to win best picture?

1 - Some french movie title with old people
2 - The political movie with a little bit of suspense
3 - Some weird title that has no relation to the movie
4 - The action movie about slavery
5 - The movie version of a stage play
6 - The movie version of a book
7 - The political movie about slavery
8 - Something about crazy people
9 - The political movie about terrorism with a little bit of action

Django was my fav, but it isn't best picture material
Lincoln wasn't as captivating as people said it was
Argo was alright
Zero Dark Thirty was basically a 25 minute movie because all people are talking about is the "real time" action bit at the end

So I'll be unbiased and say they should give it to either of the two movies I didn't see (#1/#3)

Unfortunately "The Master" might get a couple....because it was a pretentious piece of ****. Apart from Joaquim Phoenix..who basically played himself (confused drunk).

Best part of awards season? When it's over, it's spring.

Lincoln ---- Vampire hunter.

I think it's going to come down to Les Mis and Life of Pi.

I saw Les Mis and it was INCREDIBLE. Still want to see Life of Pi. Book was amazing.

Secretly I am hoping Beasts of the Southern Wild wins. It is the best one by far though I doubt most people have seen it.

I like the little movies sometimes, I'll definitely check it out.

What's with the recent trend of having 9-10 movies for best picture? The last 2-3 years was ridiculous... they're just front loading the "best picture" with the highest grossing.

I mean, District 9 was a great movie... but best picture? far from it.
