Hey everyone.

Once again this year is going to come fast so lets see whos in the area...
Anyone up for a beer/pop at boston pizza at hwy 10 and broadway (basicaly #9)

friday march 7th at 7pm
anyone up for a meet up?
 
I'm in the area but I'm not sure if I can hook up next Friday. It would be nice to see if there are lots of Orangeville riders since I just moved here.
 
Long time rider and resident of Orangeville; however, can't make it next Friday as it is Men's week at Blue and I will likely be skiing up north.

Let us know when the next might be held.
 
I didn't see this thread until it was too late but I would have been down...I am from Shelburne but have had the bike out almost everyday last week..I will probably be taking the girlfriend out on it today but is anyone down for a ride tomorrow (sunday)? Nothing too far but dont really have any direction in mind..
 
Missed this thread until today. If I am around, I am always available for a ride or three.
I just found out this weekend, while in my car, that River Road is not very passable. Lots and lots of looses sand.
The rest of the busy east-west roads seem okay.

I was on River Road on the weekend with my bike and would agree with your impression. Most of the corners were shaded so it makes for a very dangerous condition since the sand is difficult to see. Prince of Wales was probably worse, fortunately I was riding up the hill. You have to keep it below the speed limit on the corners and that takes all the fun out of the ride. However, 10 Sideroad west of Airport Road is pretty good, as are Mono Road, Hockley and The Forks.
