I’ve been hosting the digital jpeg version of that for about 15 years now. It’s in my signature for anyone to save and useDoes anyone recall this map?
I can't figure out where it originated but have to assume I plucked it out of GTAM. I made a fuller sized copy that is getting worn out and can't find the original file I saved it to.
I used to take that map and print sections of it out. I had one for Haliburton, one for Calabogie and so on... I laminated them and would put them in my clear map pocket of my tank bag and then also write out the turn by turn directions with approx distances in-between. Double checked my distances and roads with the Ontario Backroads Mapbook. Explored a lot of great roads that way and that map started it all for my exploringYep, I also used that map when I first started riding close to 20 years ago.
There was a companion web site that went with it, which detailed all the roads from the map with pictures and a small write-up. The original site is long gone, but someone mirrored it here:

I always wondered who drew that map up. Whoever it was, did Ontario motorcycles riders a huge service over the years!
Has a marking on the map saying made by King in 2002.I always wondered who drew that map up. Whoever it was, did Ontario motorcycles riders a huge service over the years!
I agree that is one of the best roads I've ever ridden too."This one isn't in Ontario but pretty close. It's in Québec. Look for a National Park called Maurice National Park. It is about an hour north of Sorel. You enter the park for $3.50. It's only one road so you can't get lost. All I can say is that it is without a doubt the best road I have ever ridden. 63km of pure corners and smooth tarmac. My tires were shredded after three runs through the park. This one should be shared. It is unbelievable. I live in Hamilton and honestly it is worth driving to Québec to run this road.
