Thanks for posting. Sample size is a bit thin at the moment but any information is useful!

Wolf BMW. If I ever go back, that will be the dealership I return to.

Yah, 11 negatives no big deal. Unless you are one of the 11. I would never go there again.

I'm a negative. I'm never buying a BMW again thanks to BMW Toronto and their service. BMW NA is useless.

In the bikes first year I was asked to work on an S1000RR by a friend who was / is madly in love with his bike. Install exhaust and the usual sport bike goodies also do an oil change AND........ please check my rear brake the pedal feels strange / soft. In my mind I thought well you just have to get used to it I suppose their master cylinder piston size and stroke maybe different.

Well when I got to check his rear brake did I ever get the ultimate scare. I swear my legs went soft and I couldn't help but think about the bad things that thankfully never happened. The rear axle nut was loose, it had been put on by hand and not tightened with a wrench. So I humbly told the owner this is what I found and he FREAKED OUT. He's like #$%^ that explains everything !

Apparently he took it to his dealer for first service and when he got the bike back the rear pedal felt strange to him and he went back, they checked bike and said its fine. One would guess they serviced his chain but forgot to tighten the axle nut. Like how does that happen ?? It means the person is not there in the present in his/her mind, they are somewhere else. This can happen in bobs home garage and it can happen at a premiere bmw dealer where you are paying for them to have fancy coffee machines and trendy decor.

I personally would never support such a racket.

My S1000RR has 16000kms on it and I'll never take it to a BMW dealer (especially Toronto). I've never experienced such a pretentious load of BS in my life. I've tried to get simple answers about caring for my bike and all they try to sell me $2 fairing screws and threaten me with not honouring the warranties if I don't come to see them for all the service work. The whole racket is predicated on other shops not being able to talk to the ECU. I'm getting a GS-911 so I can monitor the bike myself.

Sorry for the rant. I wish my bike was not a bimmer, but otherwise identical. It's fantastic except for the company

Somebody has to pay for the free coffee, pretty girl at the front desk & nice building. I heard service is their bread & butter. They don't make enough selling bikes alone

I've only dealt with Budds' BMW in Oakville so far, and my experience is mostly-positive.

Stephan Crouch is a so/so salesguy that could improve his customer service skills; not the best at returning calls, and sometimes gives answers that could have used some more research. I've had better sales experiences from Ford dealerships. That said, I got the bike I wanted.

John Parker is a (the?) master mechanic on the Motorrad side. He's pretty gruff and blunt, but he appears to know his stuff. I haven't had many dealings with him yet though.

Budds' service department also has a shuttle service that goes as far east as Hurontario in Mississauga (which happens to reach my condo).

I've bought from Endras in Ajax. Owen in service is a decent guy and very knowledgeable. James in sales works hard too.
I just hate going in the place cause you feel like you're not worthy to be there if you don't spend a 100k on a car.
The motorrad guys are really short staffed for what management must expect from them.
