One Piece Track Suits Wearing In?

I just bought an Alpinestars Carver suit, BUT, it presses down on my shoulders. It creates small pressure points right on the top of my shoulders because of the armour. If it breaks in, I will fit very well in the suit (nice and snug to my body, but I have a very tall torso creating the pressure points).

If I go a size up, I feel there might be too much wiggle in the arms and legs, and a huge gap in the midsection, making the suit not as effective and strange looking, but it wouldn't create pressure points guarenteed. Has anyone had said pressure points, and do they get worse and worse over, say the course of a trackday or just normal riding day, and has anyone who owned multiple one piece suits had them ALWAYS break in after being a little bit tight?

Thanks!

I had pressure points at my knees when I first wore my one piece. At the end of every track day I'd be pretty sore but I kept using it and after maybe a half dozen track days the problem went away. Stick with it, you'll probably be fine after a while.

You need only to concern yourself with how it feels while you are on the bike. Mine is tight on the shoulders too when I walk around but it's perfect on the bike. Don't go up a size, you want it to be snug or it will not protect you properly. I've never had a suit get less comfortable, it always gets more comfortable the more it's worn. My opinion, anyway.

I'd always buy a suit one size too small. They will stretch. Mink oil will help in the preseason, but heat and sweat will finish the job while you are riding in them.

If you buy one that fits comfortably at the beginning of the season, you'll be swimming in them by the end of the season. This is unsafe (friction burn between the leather and your skin, as well as armor that isn't seated correctly) and looks crappy.

let the leather stretch and have the suit snug. I have also heard you can shower and sleep in it to help with the stretching. (srs)

Are the pressure points when you're standing or are they still there when you're on the bike (one-piece suits are usually cut for the shape of the rider while on the bike which means they will be a bit shorter than if you were standing)?

Yeah, in mine I can barely stand up strait without crushing my jewels, but on a bike it fits like a glove, like its intended and designed to.

Also on oversized suits. If there is a fold in the leather when you slide rather than it being tight it will tend to burn through in that spot rather than spread the rash over a larger area.

Or worse yet, the fold can bite into the asphalt and such causing a tumble.

I have pressure points on my camel toe

Is there pressure when sitting on the bike in your riding position?A one piece suit is not designed to be comfy when walking around.

Good thing there aren't any man bits in the way otherwise it would be worse.

Hey, yeah the precurve is there slightly, but on the motard im more upright than the precurve creating the pressure points on the shoulders. Thanks for all the advice guys!

There are but I tuck them in and back, makes me faster, like shaving the testis

Wait until you wear it on a hot and sunny day, leather will stretch and form to your body's contours. After several days you won't notice it on anymore.
