Moral: this is not a bike to be taken lightly. Even my "old" Tuono will do that if you crank it to the stop in first and it crosses 5500. Love twins...
MCN did a comparison already between it and the Tuono V4R which matched it on horsepower but not torque ... they chose the Tuono which was a surprise in that the KTM looks to be a runaway but was not quicker, faster or as sophisticated. According to MCN anyway.

Damn....i know how violent my VTR wants to come up in first gear, i can only imagine what another 75 hp and who knows how much torque behaves...
