I just thought I'd share some onboard footage I've put together from a couple recent trackdays :) I can't believe how much technology, quality of video and data acquisition has come since I was last tracking/racing just a short 6yrs ago :shock: I'm all about it :headbang:

No rain to speak of came down at either of these days. There was very light sprinkling a couple times on Aug 7th but nothing that actually wet the pavement. With how the weather has been this season, I felt super lucky to have dodged it so far (knock on wood)...praying for more of the same this Mon and Tues at CTMP

How do you get all this awesome telemetry?? Just a phone app, or is this some advanced system in an R1M or something?
 
I use an AiM SoLo DL (Datalogger) GPS Lap timer. It plugs right into my ECU also to get all the bike info. Then I can just overlay that data onto my video's ☺ I just finished riding and testing my 360Fly video footage and although I have to work on laying out the data on that type of video, the footage is awesome! I'll post some soon

So here is my first attempts with 360 video footage. This first one is not only my first time using 360 video footage but also my first ever session at CTMP/Mosport I messed up the overlay which is facing backwards on me when it should be facing forwards on the track but at least the vid quality is great ☺

This second one def turned out better. The only issue is that the data overlay is cut off a little on the corners when watching the track facing footage. I will be adjusting the placement a bit for the next video I produce
