ON elections: best way of helping out candidate?

Princess's Man is wondering: what do you guys think is the best way of helping out a candidate in his riding?


Do you think that volunteering would be of help? Or, would a donation be better? What do you guys think?


Princess's Man isn't looking to build his resume or to network, and he is not aspiring to be a politician.


For those who have volunteered for a candidate: do you think you made a difference in the outcome of the election? Or, was your time wasted doing menial jobs like photocopying and running errands?
 
They are parasitical vermin and now you want to help someone become parasitical vermin. I don't think you should even entertain this idea. If it's a friend or family member, you should tell them that you need to disassociate until they quit this pursuit. That's the best support you could give. These people already do enough damage to our lives. The political class has grown so no one candidate is going to go help. Cutting it off is the best medicine; all we can do now is minimize the damage these people wreak on us and avoid their impacts.
 
Call them and ask. Even shuffling papers and making photocopies helps free up the time of someone perhaps better qualified to assist in more meaningful ways.
