A few of my buddies told me the Olympics opening was blasting video game music. They weren't kidding. We've got Phantasy Star Online 2, Final Fantasy, NieR Automata, Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger, and Sonic the Hedgehog so far.

Anyone got a leak or uploaded the full opening? The CBC one only has Final Fantasy into Phantasy Star Online 2.

Australia was using a furry and a scaly as mascots. They may have thought that they were manga related.

I'm willing to bet there's a rule 34 for that but I am not googling it lol
 
How is that an accident? Somebody paid an artist to design animal people mascots and signed off on what they got.

The ppl who dress up as furries and have sex. There is a pedophile issue within that community.

And you won't get judgment from me about anime pix; I've a waifus pillow behind me that my fiancee regularly hisses at because the character is naked lol
 
OK - I can certify that the mascots pictured do not seem to be either pedophiles or having sex

I'm hyped most for this song, there's like 5 versions. Dunno if you've played NieR but it's up there with Final Fantasy XV for tear jerkers.

Cant wait for the leaks.
 
Was able to finally play NieR with the 1.22 re-release. I liked parts of it... having played Automata first though I already knew about most of the twists already, the experience may have suffered for that
