Ok, this is stupid... police using lambourgini and ferrari

buddy posted the picture on FB about 2 weeks ago, I commented they'd never use that thing in a chase because they'd be too scared to wreck it. Looks like I was right...

and since when have the WRX and EVO been considered a supercar??

Been there... it's a publicity thing to do parade laps around the Burj Al Arab and Bur Dubai....

Lambos are like Toyota Camrys in Dubai.

Have you ever seen the average car in dubai? For example the bugatti veyron, rather exclusive car and the majority ended up there. Italy also has Lambo's as police cars. How else do you chase a supercar on a highway? With a crown vic? :lmao:

"If they chase your Land Rover (apparently very popular in Dubai, and usually speeding) just drive over a curb." hahah

Obvious tourism/PR schtick, who cares

Before I went to Dubai, I already knew about the car culture there. But I still couldn't believe it when I saw it for myself. The underground parking at the Dubai mall was like a freakin' car show... A very expensive one.

It's not a stretch for them to have either of those cars in the police force.

Their automotive exuberance is inversely proportional to the amount they're getting laid.
