What a fantastic trail system! It was a great day and I plan to attend this ride yearly!

Here is the 2012 Midhurst Trail Ride through my eyes:

How did the guy with the street wheels fare?
Did he go through the single track?
Did anyone ride in on their bikes and then ride the trails?

Sorry for all the questions, but i'd like to try this out sometime. Need to get out on the dirt soon....

The guy with street slicks on the drz400sm is a buddy of mine from highschool - I've been trying to get him interested in dirt riding for YEARS and he finally has a 2nd set of rims/tires for offroad, but he was too lazy to throw them on the night before the ride.

I followed him and gopro'd him for a bit so he would have a good keepsake of the day (and again, hopefully infect him with the dirt-riding-bug) - probably pretty boring footage for most people who ride offroad (since it's such a slow pace etc).

BUUUUUUT, since you asked ;) here is the complete footage I have of him and his bike from that day:

(and yes, at least 10 people rode to the start of the Midhurst Trail ride on their bikes, and rode home from there also. For some the trip was over 2 hours from their home to the start of the ride...)

NICE!!
Did he get the bug? I bet he would like it better with dirt tires.
I love the GOPRO views.
You have a bunch of video on YouTube from the Ganaraska forest, don't you? I think i recognise your bike.

I think if there is another trail ride somewhere, i'll try to see if i can make it.
Thanks for the video Xhumeka.

Nice! I wish I could have gone. I see you stopped at the awesome spring in Williams Tract at the 11 min mark. I've done most of the single track there on the KLR, and it's fun but very tiring on the heavy bike.
