OEM springs compatible with Ohlins R&T forks?

My new to me bike (2005 R1) has ohlins R&T forks (FG327). I checked the sag last night and the spring rate is way too stiff for my weight. The rate on my OEM forks is perfect and I was wondering if anyone knew off hand whether they will swap directly into to the Ohlins forks?

I know you are trying to be helpful, but as indicated in my first post, I was looking for someone that happens to know the answer off the top of their head; I'd like to avoid having to pull apart my oem and ohlins forks to check if possible....

That's a fairly technical question.

Look up Dan Kyle racing. They are a big American Ohlins distributor and they do lots of setup work. Fire them an email, they are the subject matter experts.

Ohlins says no-go...

Hello Michael. Thank you for your email.
Öhlins forks & fork springs are specific. The stock Yamaha springs will not fit.
Your ‘FG 327’ forks use the 04744-xx series springs.
The ‘FG 327’ forks have a 04744-95 springs stock (95 rate)
Optional springs are shown on the attached file. The fork springs are sold at $62.24 each (U.S.).
You’ll have to find a motorcycle dealer in the U.S. as we don't sell to Canada.
Please call or return email with any questions.
Thank you, Jerry
