I've had the occasional starting issue with my bike since I got it this summer (Hyosung GT250R, used). It usually hesitates to start for a couple seconds but then gets going. Sometimes it takes some effort and fiddling with the choke to get it going.
I suspect it might be the choke or the carb, but I have no experience with car or bike engines to this extent.
I have also noticed that the choke appears to have little to no effect on the RPM anymore, which might be part of the problem.
I'd like to try something before getting it into a shop. Any suggestions?
