oakville riders on Saturday

I had the misfortune of being on Lakeshore Road on Sunday afternoon. There were a lot of bikes touring the street, back and forth, but the only group the was really a problem was a group of four riders on sportbikes who confused the street with a drag strip. Screaming exhausts, over-reving engines, dangerous driving for a street filled with curbside parking and pedestrians.
You certainly showed off the capabilities of your bikes. You also ****** off most of the people. Talk to those who rode Forks of the Credit / Bellefountain to see what this type of riding will accomplish. There are enough anti-bike people out there - don't give them more reason to hate.

I realize this goes against the anti - rule, juvenile attitudes of many here but irresponsible behaviour has no excuse.

I know what you're talking about. I was indoors working and I heard a ton of revving. It didn't bother me much, but you sure will attract the wrong attention. BTW - saw a Lambo getting pulled over the other day in the same spot for something similar.

Was it Dark Grey?

Love the sound of the bikes, but yea, city streets and especially around building the echos are too much. On the hwy, open it up as much as you want (lesson from a cop, was going to get a noise violation ticket in my neighborhood, but didn't) :D Smarten up :happy3:

I can't remember the colour... there are a ton of lambos I see down there on a regular basis. But basically it was at the lights on Lakeshore and George (Starbucks) and it revved and took off kinda quick and next thing you know popo is ripping after him. It was the same place the bikes were at on Saturday. It sounded mostly like 1 bike that was doing the majority of the revving (there was a small group of supersports)... but it was pretty loud.

Or the townsfolk of West Grey, who are proposing noise legislation because of all the weekend warrior retards who use the steep hill at the north end of town to conduct their own "loud pipes" contest all ****ing day.

Just don't lump all loud pipe owners in the same category please, some of us love loud pipes but also respect others and try to keep things as quiet as possible in the residential areas and at certain hours. These clowns you saw on Lakeshore are the type of scumbags that make it hard on the rest of us.
