First time to the site, first time riding. Just wrapped up an M1-M2 course @ Sheridan. Pretty good I have to say.

I'm going to be attempting a long (but relaxed) road trip this summer, so if you're reading this and you can think of some good threads or if you want to/have ridden long hauls, feel free to respond.

So many factors to consider. If budget is a concern and you want comfort etc check out a 04 05 Suzuki VStrom. But that really depends on your height. Meet me for that coffee and let's discuss.
