Noticed GSX-R in an auction Sat. 9 August

I'd be interested in a few cars there!

2008 Honda Accord V6 - 134,000kms
2011 Toyota Matrix Wgn - 44,000kms
2007 Nissan Altima 2.5 S - 96,000kms
#245c 94 Kawasaki EL250 M/C

If anyone goes, please note the prices of those cars! I'd be interested to know what they end up going for.

Auctions IMO are a waste of time unless you get lucky. Too many uninformed amateurs over bidding on questionable stuff.
At the beginning of the auction or in the registration paperwork, somewhere it will say that you are bidding on a package that you have inspected and found suitable to your purpose. The auction house bears no responsibility to condition.

I've never been to their car auctions but I've sold stuff at the equipment auctions. I can assure you, it is a sellers auction. People over bid on everything. I sold a lawn mower for $4500 there that I was having trouble getting $2000 for on Kijiji.

Great for track days and monster stereo's :D

Would you get in trouble for driving it around with all the lights/logo's/paintjob in tact? Seems people might come running to you in an emergency :(

Last Auction I went to those Crown Vic's usual go for around $2K.
The prices are extremely high at the last one I went to for any of the decent cars.

2006 Subaru Forester 119kms went for $7800.
Chinese 50cc 4 wheeler that didn't start went for $300
2009 Ford Escape went for $11K
07 Toyota Camry w/ blown engine sold for $5K

Alot of people go there without doing research and think you will get a deal no matter how much you spend because they see all the auction shows on TV.....

You also got to watch out for the shill bidders you can usually find who are just there to jack up prices for the sellers.

Only auctions I've ever been to seemed to be full of people with some kind of disease that thought they were getting a bargain regardless of how high they bid. It was like some kind of frenzy.....madness.

All these auction shows aren't helping on 'reality' tv! Everyone thinks they're going to hit the jackpot on every bid they win!
