Has anyone been on these roads off the 17 from the north end of Algonquin?
I have read that some are unauthorized when they go into they go into the park. Others might be ATV trails. At the least, they are all hard gravel. I have been on the east side of the park which was mixed between narrow gravel to dirt and mud - some wide enough for a car and most others were just wide enough for an ATV and were double track / fire roads. I thought that side was lots of fun so I wanted to see what it was like up on the north end.
I'll be riding my V-Strom 650 with street tires, so I'm not looking for anything too nuts...
