Hey guys, just got a few simple questions.

1. On a 2006 GSXR 600, what does everything on the dash mean?
(use picture below for reference) In particular, the red light below the gas light, the white light, the red light beside temperature, and the buttons at the top and bottom of the set of lights on the left. I bought my bike used and didn't get a owners manual with the bike, i found a service manual online but thats it.

2. Where are good places/people that can service my bike come spring? Fair price with good quality work.

3. What would need to be serviced for sure on my bike? ('06 GSXR 600 with 17,500 kms) The previous owners (2) took pretty good care of the bike and I wanna continue taking care of it.

Thanks in advance.

Dunno about the red light under the gas light

White light is a shift light

Red light by the temp is overheat

Buttons are probably one to cycle betwen trip and odometer and hold to reset and the other...?

There isnt a light thats like a CEL? And what about mechanics and servicing?

White Light = Shift Light (Flashes before redline)
Red light beside Temperature = Fault Indicator. (FI) light.

Red light by temp is the "FI" light. It will light if there's any fuel injection problems (commonly tripped on the 06-07 for set valve issues).

Big white light is the shift light.

There's symbols on the others making them self-explaining.

Places for service would depend on where you're located. That age/mileage would be good to go over bearings and other high-wear items such as chain/sprockets, brakes, fork seals, etc. Also I'd make sure all the fluids are fresh (engine, brake, coolant).
