Nitrogen for rear shock

I think my rear shock has a very slow leak. John at Accelerated noticed this and topped it up for me a coiled weeks ago.

I’ve been monitoring it and it seems like it’s dropped a bit since then - not a lot, but I figure by next week it will be a bit more noticeable. I’m going to send the shock to him over the winter for servicing, so for now and some time next week, I just need a shot of nitrogen before I ride down to the Smoke’s the following week.

Know where to get this done?

Thanks!

How high will the nitrogen fill station outside every costco go? I suspect not high enough but it's worth a look.

Isn't there a competent suspension shop in Mississauga that some racers like? They would definitely be able to top you up.

Option 3 is a welder/hvac friend that could top you up from their cylinder. Be careful as you could blow the ass out of your shock if they give it too much pressure.

... if you're a DIY'er any inert gas works. Argon leaks faster than nitrogen, the nitrogen molecules are BIG, argon molecules are small... so argon leaks past the seals faster, but works in a jam.

It would be worth calling around to automotive shops. It's common to fill air conditioning systems with nitrogen to test for leaks.
