Ninja 650r Problems?

I went into the delearship looking at new bikes and they tried to steer me away from the 650r because "they get a lot in that are burning oil" is this a common complaint? I don't find too much on google on on GTAM so is that just 1 delear's opinion?

Are there other known issues for the 06-08 range? I found this website and it doesn't say oil burning in it...

Don't know about the more recent models but i haven't had to make any top ups in between changes on my 2008. No other issues to report besides an under-sprung suspension - but that is a known flaw.
 
my 2010 has been fantastic, bought it new and have her up to 20,000k now.. never an issue.
