Ninja 300 Frame Sliders help

So I droped my bike for the first time over the weekend, going slow in a corner. I'm not exactly sure on how it happened, but I think the sand/silt on the road had something to do with it. Now, I am debating on what to do next. Since I'm a newbie and am not exactly sure of how it dropped and it's the begining of the season, i suspect it might happen again. Now the decision I face are wether or not to install frame sliders and wether or not to buy a new fairing now (do both , do none , or do just one of the two)? Any advice and/or opinions would be appreciated.

Also, I would especially like an answer from anyone here who has frame sliders installed on their 300 regarding the following:
1) Where they no cut or did they require body modifications?
2) Was the installation easy?
3) How much did you pay for them and where?
4) Can you please post some pictures of the bike with the sliders?

Cheers!

Shogun makes sliders for the 300, I was reading that the install is pretty much the same as the 250....the only cut you make is a notch on the sprocket cover.

Get frame sliders, don't get the no cut ones, get ones that mount secure and don't have a large piece of steel to get to the openings of the bike. I bought woodcraft and were a easy install (650r here tho), involved cutting, but I cut a small hole at first then to fit the slider I used a dremel in small increments until it fit nice and clean.

For the fairing did you crack your fairing or just scratch it? If its just scratches pickup some touchup paint from colorite.

What is the problem with the no cut ones? I'm afraid of installing no cut ones without seeing how they look on a bike first.

The fairing is just scratched but since its the SE edition it has a sticker on it which took most of the damage. I'm going to inquire with Kawasaki regarding the sticker.

Do you mind posting a pic of your woodcraft sliders?

No cuts are not good in actual crash situation. They do no mount secure enough to take an impact and and because of the lack of support just end up bending or shifting and cracking your fairing instead. Get the sticker replaced if you want, put on sliders and keep on riding...Its just the start of the season and its likely to happen again, If you really want to replace it, do it over the winter and you may even be able to find a fairing for cheap on ebay later on in the season. A lot of guys put their bikes on the track and sell their stock bodywork.

Kawi also has OEM sliders but they're kinda big and ugly
