Does anyone know the wholesale value for a 2009 ninja 250r?

Does the MTO go by the wholesale value of the bike or what ever i paid for it. (on a used bike)

Also what does the bill of sale include? ---- bike name, price, vin#, year, kms,ans so on?

They go by whatever is on the bill of sale. They do not reference any books for "values"... so if you have $1.50 on the paperwork, that's what they go by.

This guy knows what he's talking about. He rode a liter bike without insurance for two years but now wants to go legit and can only afford a 250R. But because he is so skilled on a 1000cc motorcycle he's upset. He also started a romper room post bashing 250s. Listen to him, he's not biased at all;

LOL. Just kidding arushbhai....1000cc motorcycle all the way. 250R are for girls.

Sorry OP for being off-topic, they'll go by bill of sales.....be reasonable, they may send a letter to seller and buyer to confirm so make sure you guys are on the same page. Also, UVIP has a section to fill out and sign and can be used as a bill of sales. If you want it separate, I had date, make, model, year, VIN, price, signatures from seller and buyer. Cheers.

c'mon bro, you have to admit it, not everyone can ride those 1000cc motorcycles, you need to have a heart to even sit on it, let alone riding it on a highway. those bikes are heavy as fck too. holy ****, it took me 5 months just to get used to proper handling. oh and 250 sucks. and the hate for 250 has increased ever since i joined this forum. watch out 250ers.

In that case, you sir, have the heart of a lion as you not only sat on it, but rode it on the highway without being insured for two years....Bravo!!

So people still get suckered into getting a 250 over a 125? If you are going to get a slow bike, you might as well save money with the honda 125, instead of trying to justify the extra 125cc's for more than double the price.

where do you come up with that garbage....the 125 retails for 1k less than the 250s.....

The 250 is nowhere near double the cost, but its twice the bike a CBR125 will ever be. It has enough balls to get the job done, no matter where you take it...unlike the 125 which is limited in its use.

so knowledgeable, and such bad *** riding with no insurance, and not to mention it requires such big balls to get on the highway. bro

Can you even take 250 on a highway? It probably blocks all the traffic because its so slow. One should only ride 250 on his/her own private property. just construct a small track and have fun with your 250 there, dont even take it on a street.

It's my experience that it is not the horse but how well the jockey handles the horse.

It is also my experience that those that say they have huge balls usually have none.

Any idiot can go fast in a straight line...give that same idiot a keyboard and you get quality posts like the one quoted.

Ok fine maybe not double the price, but still significantly more. Have you people ever ridden a 125? The thing handles all situations nicely. It is much easier to duck and flick in between traffic with the smaller bike as well. I couldn't justify spending the money for a 250 when the 125 already does 140 on the highway.

fully tucked with the wind at your back it'll do 140.
God forbid you need to pass someone.
my wife has owned a 125 and now owns an 09 250, hatted the 125 after 3 rides and loves the 250 every time she takes it out.
I've ridden both many times and after everywhere we've taken the 250 (street, hwy, track), it is a well rounded motorcycle.
the 125 is not safe on the hwy.

I dont know, tell her to take a riders course? If you aren't confident on a bike then you will most likely crash, so if she feels confident on the 250 then that's great. I feel very confident on the 125 on the highways, i've even taken the thing in the left-most lane on the 401 passing other riders, without tucking and without tailwinds guiding me... the only thing the 125 cant do is wheelies... But it does amazing stoppies  (the brakes are VERY good)

If the asking price on the bike is $4000.
You could offer the seller $3500 or $3700. $3700 if they are willing to put a much lower number on the bill of sale.

HST on used vehicles sucks!

13% on 3500 is $455
13% on 100 is $13

Seller makes $200 more, you save $255. Everyone is a winner?

You just have to pray the seller doesn't rat you out later for ***** and giggles!

Anyone can ride a litre or a 250. It's how you ride it that matters... and if it took you months to figure out how to handle yours properly, you probably don't ride that well. Or maybe you just have a very petitte figure and that's why you have such a problem moving all that weight around.
