NINJA 250 Owners - take a look - what is this?

I changed the oil on my 2010 ninja 250 last night and noticed this hose dangling. (noticed it before I did the oil change)
I thought it was a torn cable or something...but I looked in the service manual and noticed it as well. Pictures attached.

What the hell is this hose for? Any ideas?
Do other ninja owners have this too?

It's right at the bottom of the bike. Just want to know what it's for...and why does it not connect to anything at the bottom.

Overflow of some sort.

All bikes have them, just tuck the back in and you are good to go.

Japanese urethra that the dealer was suppose to take out upon inspection to prevent infection.
Probably a gas/coolant overflow

that's used to milk the ninja goodness from the bike drink it and you will turn into a real ninja ..NOT the Beverly hills ninja type ninja its an overflow tube its supposed to hang there

it's supposed to be red, they added a color die to let you know when to change it.
