ninja 250 GPS mount

Hey guys! So it's been about half a year since I moved to Vancouver from Toronto and I'm finally settled in enough for me to ship my bike over.

I want to just go out and ride without thinking of where I'm going, but be able to make it home safely so I've been thinking of bringing my GPS along.

Does anyone know which GPS mounts are appropriate for a 2011 ninja 250? I'm talking about the whole setup (base, arms, device mount) and I have a Garmin Nuvi 255w.

I took a look at some RAM mounts, but I really don't know which ones will fit my handle bars.

Thanks!

If you don't want to use the bars, get the brake/clutch lever mount as I believe it is virtually universal. I have one on my CBR250R, as well as a fork stem mount which I prefer, but I don't think that works on the Ninja.

Also if you are looking for a place to order, I got all mine from GPScity.ca and couldn't be happier with the price & service.

I personally prefer the bars, I just don't know the right size for it.

Can you give me a link to the one that you have though?

The 250R has 2 placeholders where accessories can be mounted (mirrors in particular.) If you look next to your grips you'll see a plastic plug on either side, which if removed will reveal a thread which a RAM mount ball can be attached into.

I forget the size of thread at the moment, but all the necessary equipment can be picked up from RAM Mount dealers such as RadioWorld (which is up at Steeles just east of the 400.)

Industrial strength velcro... Works like a charm.

I have the exact same GPS using a RAM mount on my CBR125. Fits fine and I'm sure if it fits my bars, it would fit yours :p It's just a metal U that goes around the bar. When I bought the mount, it came with 2 different sized "U's"

Just do a search for 'Ram Mounts'...go to the manufacturers site...use the 'wizard' and it will tell you what mounts to use....BUT, I would buy in Canada to save shipping and taxes
