If it's a nice clear day, use up some air miles, rent a convertible, take a leisurely ride to any destination. Suggestions. Nice summer dress for the lady that allows access. I've driven to Barrie for butter tarts. She enjoyed the ride to Barrie so much, we parked at the lake and was shown how much she appreciated the drive up. We planned to stay the night but we just went home as we didn't have the kids and it was better than hotel relations,
I don't like bed and breakfast places as the houses are generally old and you can hear pretty much everything going on around you. Don't like having a competition. lol.
Collingwood allows for some nice chalet to rent. Niagara on the Lake has some nice places to walk around, share a desert and glass of wine or pint. Head out to The Falls for a cheap room. Get a double so, you can sleep in clean sheets. Order room service if you spend a little extra cash on decent hotel.
I've gone for a drive up fifty road up the escarpment for a bit and then turned off and parked on the side of the road for a little bit of canoodling. Or drive down the parkway and find a quiet spot for a picnic and a bit of love n.
I've gone to old Montreal and got a nice hotel and that worked out well too.
I've also made it to a Comfort Inn that was in town, picked up a fruit tray and some chocolate sauce and destroyed the place.
It all depends on your imagination, you can make a trip to the grocery store the best love story ever!
Good luck man.
