the suspensions this year for some of these actions are unbelievable.

these guys are going to turn the NHL into a shinny game. ( for those that arent familiar with the term - shinny is played without equipment, so no slap shots, hitting, etc .. )
I would have thought that Shanahan would be the complete opposite of what he's done so far.
dont you think that the rules they are making now, are making the players softer as they enter the NHL ?
you dont see these types of suspensions in the NFL, ( maybe a fine here and there ) and they hit 10 X harder
what do you think ?
