Someone needs to give her a history lesson!
They tried that once and lost 1812- 1814
I will be advising the Mayor of New York that I will be cancelling my trip there.

Well to be fair , she was using tbe Canada Buffalo analogy in the context of defending what Israel is doing to Hamas and needed a completely ridiculous comparison. Since she was addressing a Jewish congress at a fund raiser. And she’s an idiot .

This is one of those things that I was thinking maybe it was just some poorly chosen words that sounded bad out of context, but looking up the context made it worse
 
Usually, if you sneak attack someone, they're going to clobber you back until you surrender, if they're capable of it.
 
I’m never one to let the facts get in the way of a good story , but the US never invaded ‘Canada’ in 1812 . Canada didn’t actually get here till around 1867. But with the help of some Indigenous, they did get repelled.

I think they did. In 1791 as a response to the organization of the independent USA, the British formalized the province of Upper Canada as part of the empire and established the first sovereign Canada constitution (constitution act of 1791). This precluded independence, but non the less was Canada in the day.
