New/want to get into dirt biking

Okay so I'm thinking about getting into dirt biking just to have a "hobby". I'm a new daddy of a 6month old son and I would love to make dirt biking "our" thing when its reaches the age to do so. I've never owned nor do I know anything about dirt biked or where to ride or who to ride with. To be honest lol I have no friends hahaha I'm just a Jamaican living in Canada..just a simple 23yo restaurant manager. Please help lol

Welcome to forum. Riding is not cheap so make sure it won't put a financial strain on your new family. It is also addictive and well worth the cost. Post in the Dirt/Dual Sport section and you'll be able to find new friends who share this hobby with you.

I'd recommend you take a course for a day to at least confirm it's something you want to put $/time into.

CMTS (http://www.smartadventures.ca/) or Trail Tours (http://trailtour.com/). I've done both and always had a good time.

plus you have to consider that anything "legal" to ride, (trails), are at least a 1 hour drive from the downtown core.

You'll learn.
You'll see that there are trails within 1h of toronto
And you'll get the bite (my buddy had never ridden and now he can't shut up about it)
