It's a dobro hound dog, so it's lower end but it plays good and sounds pretty good. It's the low action style so right now it gets played as a guitar, but I do want to learn some bluesy rock stuff on it.
My grandpa played an electric Steele, and played with some fairly popular artists back in the day.
Kewl, very familiar with the hound dog, wouldn't mind owning one.
My Dad played in some bands in the '50s, Ventures covers etc. His dad played violin (or fiddle as he would call it.), My Great Grandfather on my Mom's side was a player and apparently a well known Luthier (just found out from my aunt).
Tune her to an open chord, grab a bullet slide and just have some fun. Nice break from the fast fingers stuff I normally play. B)
