This looks like a wonderful place. I just got my M2 couple of days back and have started looking for my first bike in Canada.
After my initial research, I have narrowed it down to the 250 cc only (bike price, size as well as insurance are all factors in making this call). Once I get the hang of riding the smaller bike and get more experience, will upgrade (I am quite sure) to a bigger one.
My current thought is to either go with Suzuki GZ250 or Yamaha Virago 250. Suggestions are most welcome. This is going to be a common bike for me and my wife, so one of the considerations is to have a good back seat as well. I know that a 250 cc is not going to be great at performance with two riders but I am not that worried about that part.
My budget is more around 2K to 2500 max. so let me know if I am on the right track with the above info.
Also, where should I go looking to buy this kind of bike?
