Isn't that the best description for every SS out there?Awesome bike for the track IMO (although probably quite costly) but completely retarded for normal street use. Loooks really nice, as well.

do superchargers lhave lag in them, like turbos? I would imagine it being slightly unsettlling having unexpected power coming in mid corner, but then again I don't really know what a supercharger is.
A good track bike is any bike you can find parts for easily.
Even turbochargers have zero lag anymore. Turbo lag is a thing of the past, and the myth is that they still have lag.
Modern turbocharges have instant boost, variable vane technology etc.
NEWMAN is right....this thing barely makes any more power than a stock Panigale, considering most engines with forced induction see a 50-100% performance gain.
Those numbers could easily be reached with normal aspiration, why bother with a blower to only see 188hp?
I can get 210HP out of my 07 R1 on pump gas, or 250 on paint thinner, with this supercharger: http://www.rotrexsuperchargers.co.uk/Rotrex/pages/products/bikes/yamahar1/prod_yamahar1.html
Seems like a much better investment

Why do you think it'd suck on the track? The weight is all down low, right where the headers turn under the bike. Doesn't look like it'd reduce your lean angle much/any. The weight might not be perfectly balanced/centred but other than a bit more weight on the front I don't see why it would hurt the handling?Would suck on track, but great for the strip I'd guess.
