Hey there,

Just got my first bike, a 2001 Honda Rebel CMX250. Have had my M2 for a while now but no time/funds to buy a bike til now. Just got my plates and temp sticker. Does anyone know a good mechanic in the east end for some work and the safety?

Also what are some good places to ride around here? Cheers!

Welcome, and 109 Cycle at Warden and Danforth gets lots of positive reviews (haven't been myself). Another option for the safety is the Canadian Tire at McCowan and Sheppard, but you need to call and make sure their bike mechanic is in.

Theres Snow City on Kennedy too. Shop around. I hear theres a few good places in Pickering/Ajax too.

For riding.. look up Twin Rivers, and then make your way out past the ZOO. Take look at google maps and you can start plotting routes. I have a nice Durham 1 hr loop.

Welcome, I'm new here myself but I really like this site so far.

Kiwi- I think that you meant "Snow City" on Kennedy.

Welcome to the group. I am new here as well and live around Scarboro anyways regarding Snow City.. I believe their appt schedule is booked a month in advance. I tried to get in a couple of days ago and that's what they told me.

Welcome and ride safe once the bike's on the road.

Hello dkua,

I got my M2 and just purchased a 2009 Honda Rebel. I suggest you take it to Markham Outdoor Power (9441 Markham Road) or Cycleworld Superstore (McCowan/Shepherd).

Cheers!

Snow City is pretty good, use to service my 650R there and bought all my wife's gear there too. They are pretty good.
