just got my license deciding on which motorcycle to get.

something around 600CC
sport or sport touring
not whole lot of experience so want something that wont cost me fortune to insure
any suggestions ??

thinking of yamaha fz6r or honda cbr 600 , gsx-r

budget is around 5gs
 
Welcome, safe riding and good luck searching. Stay below 750 or 600 for cheaper insurance rate. When I was getting quotes in April, it was $700 for 400-500 cc, $900 for 650 to 750.

thanks guys!!! i ve been searching but no luck yet
looking to get R6 ,fz6 i had a question regarding bike motors. i have been seeing some bike around 30k to 35000kms . what will be my most recent maintenance and cost if i get something with high kms or i should not get in to that. lets say if it is well maintained .
 
usually they recommend scheduled maint. at around 50k for alot of bikes. 30k kms is not very high..Depending on what you would do for maintenance it may be a few hundred or a bit more.
